I read awhile back that someone was going to redo the Riddle of the Sphinx, has anyone heard anymore about this. It's a great game & would love to play it again. I bought the BF version but it won't play on my 7 or my XP.

You may be thinking of this. I don't anything about the status of it, though.

Thanks Marian & Jenny100 for your quick reply. I tried it on the 7 and got the blue screen of death. Not going to mess around there. so the last update was Sept. 7th, sounds good to me. At least it looks like they will be releasing the game in the near future, better than what we've been getting from the new Nancy Drew game or the Last Crown. I guess I'll wait patiently for the next update. Have a great day everyone.

Judith, just in case you are unaware, HeR Interactive begins taking preorders for Nancy Drew: Midnight in Salem on Tuesday, October 1st, with a release date of November 19th.

And thank you, Rob, for your kind offer. smile

Thanks FlyingDutchman42, but I do have the game, I believe it's on three disks. It won't play on my 7 or xp. Same goes with the BF download. I was hoping that GOG would redo it, so I'll wait & hopefully (from the link above) they will put the game out for sale. Thanks Marian, I going to wait on the ND game to see what others think of it. Never thought it would come out LOL.

Judith, which caused a blue screen of death on your Win 7? The Disc or the Big Fish download?

I also bought the game from Big Fish because it does say it plays on Win 7. I have downloaded it but have not attempted to play it.

Hi oldbroad; It was the BF download that caused the blue screen of death. It might work for you. In reading the old forums it worked for some people & not for others. You pay your money, you take your chances.
