VERY well-written review! Spot-on. I had posted on their Steam discussions page that the game needs MUCH more word of mouth. Hardly any reviews at all.
Even with all the back and forth traveling in-game, I absolutely enjoyed the game. One of the best-storied, best voice-acted, best musically-scored adventure games I've played in a long time. As far as recent adventure games I've played are concerned, I'd put Eastshade, Vanishing of Ethan Carter, Xing and Argonus and the Gods of Stone right up there...at or near the top. Loved the environments, too.
Not to mention: VERY FEW adventure game devs put UNLIMITED SAVE SLOTS in their games nowadays (who knows why). I am jaded regarding all the console-port games with only checkpoint-saving. "Gameboomers" like most of us (in my case, as older guy with family responsibilities who can't sit at the PC for hours on end without stopping) should praise those who do this. Well, I mean: as long as the game is good, that is.
This was a VERY good adventure game AND it had unlimited save slots. A real treat.
I hope it gets more word of mouth, and I cannot FATHOM why it isn't available on G.O.G.'s site.

Thanks so much for your feedback on the game, robedits. I would certainly like to see it available on GOG.
