I backed the kickstarter reboot of this and got mail to say a demo is now playable for free for about the next 36 hours at Steam. Seems to be available for anyone.
Am downloading now.

I'm downloading it right now...not sure I'll have time to play tomorrow, but what a great idea, rebooting this game. I loved it but the graphics were pretty lame. This could be good!

EDIT: I got the game loaded but there's no way my Dell laptop can run it. Not even close. Not sure what the specs will be. I'll try it on the trust old Alienware tomorrow.

Ditto Hagatha - the original is a long time favourite, hence my willingness to back it.

It looks as though they've had a lot of backers! I'm hoping that means this will be good.
