I can forgive amatuers who don't know they're going to need to cut ropes, snap chains, break windows, unscrew screws, remove bolts, look in dark places. But there is absolutly no excuse for the self styled professionals such as Agent Brown, James Blackthorne or Anna Gray gowing anywhere without a Swiss Army knife or other multi tool, a hammer, a crowbar, a flashlight with extra batters, matches and a cigarette lighter. And a gun with plenty of ammo. They should know they will need these things by now. And stop throwing these things away after one use. laugh

I’ve noticed in some of the more recent games I’ve been playing that developers have gotten a bit more creative about what to use to fix something, open something, or complete a task. There have also been some where a tool returns to inventory after being used. There was even one with a Swiss Army knife that stayed in the invemtory to be used for various tasks.

I get your point. Using the same items to complete tasks is often boring. But it looks like some developers have gotten the message.

I dont like games ending with the villains escaping because somebody decided suddenly there needed to be a regular villain in a series that never had one. Not found of it in new series either. My biggest object beside it being a let down is that the company may go under without ever finishing the series. I've seen that happen before.

I was just playing a game that wouldnt let me open a present without something sharp like scissors. Has anyone used scissors to open their presents before? I thought it was a little lame, but oh well.....

Another thing all the people in these games are afraid to get their hands or feet wet. They wont even pull something out of a bathtub without a long stick with a hock or magnet on the end of it.
