Secret City: London Callikng establishes that there are 3 and only 3 races which created the city and reside in it and that only one is capable of using magic.

Secert City: The Sunken Kingdom not only adds a 4th race capable of using magic but also has a previously none magic race using magic.

Secret City: The Human Threat has all races using magic including humans, who were not even supposed to know the city exists with one exception, you.

After playing the first demo I bought all 3 games. Didn't know they were going to do this. I wont' be playing the fourth game.

Oh and the punishment for trying to murder 12 people in the first game is to be made part of the government in the third.

If only the same design team executed each game in the series, right? Frequently, there are sudden "world twists" in long-running series and even changes in graphic style. I don't pay this as much attention as I do the overall creativity, but it is a sign of poor continuity.
