Just started playing this - even though I've had it for absolutely ages - and it's very much my cup of tea [Bought it 10/12/13 !! ]

SInce there haven't been any games on BF recently that I like I'm going to get this series. They look like great games. Thanks for bringing this to my attention

Thanks for bringing this to my attention There are many good older games in the BF catalogue - I hope you enjoy these. Also, do you play the Lost Lands games? A new installment was released earlier this week. We have many fans of the series here.

Oh, heck !! Just come across a game stopping bug - which also locks up my computer I looked on the Big Fish Community page and see others have also experienced similar in the past - and in the same part of the game as me - but didn't see any solution offered. So I've sent in a "help" request along with a Dr. Felix submission. And I was SO enjoying myself

Well, following the failure of Deadly Sands, and reporting to Big Fish, I installed and started to play Black Widow (the other in the series) and quite near the beginning IT TOO failed and promptly shut itself down !! So I've reported that one as well. I don't know what on earth is going on. I just hope Big Fish comes up with something

I'll obviously report back with whatever Big Fish say. In the meantime I've installed and started another of their games - one I've never played before - called The Last Dream. Just to see if other Big Fish games do work !! EDIT : This one appears to be alright .... so far, anyway ....

Big Fish have replied promptly about the Web of Deceit : Deadly Sands problem. And given me the choice of trying their "possible" solutions or opting for a replacement game. So not being technically blessed I've opted for the replacement I am fully expecting the same offer regarding Web of Deceit : Black Widow with the problems being so similar across the two games. Of course, I very much appreciate any replacements but at the same time I'm sad I can no longer play this series because I liked it so much .

I played this game a month ago and really enjoyed it and didn't have any issues. I played it on a Win 8.1 64 system. Where were you when it crashed?
Did you ever stop to think and then forget to start again?

I played this game a month ago and really enjoyed it and didn't have any issues. I played it on a Win 8.1 64 system. Where were you when it crashed? Hi Cue I had opened the locked door above and behind my Uncle but could not go inside the room. All went black and the game AND my computer immediately totally locked up. (I was playing in Win 7 64-bit.) I'm very pleased to hear this bug isn't affecting all players !!

Yes. I checked the walkthrough after the lock up had happened several times - and before I contacted Big Fish - so I can't see any point in further tries. Plus it surely wouldn't be good for my computer
