As a child, Michael Jordan used to practice improving his accuracy using this old tree and an American football...

I can tell Pandora enjoyed this Squiggle. I don't believe I've ever seen her make a caption unless it involved James T. Kirk in some fashion. I'm not sure the Squiggler is eligible to win, but I would certainly pick "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" if it's allowed. That particular caption requires just a bit of thought to reach the conclusion that it's quite similar to CCbomber's entry. After I finally 'got it', it was extremely funny. I can picture the tree saying, "Aaaaaay, I'm growin' here!" and a big hairy cab driver replying "Fuhgeddaboutit." Anyway, I'm awarding a platinum trophy to Pandora and the shiny gold trophy to CCbomber. (My apologies for being late. I've been down with the flu.)

I'm flabbergasted. I would have picked Pandora's caption by itself. But I guess there is a connection between a tree in Brooklyn and a Bronx salute, even if only geographical. Congrats, Sue.

Scarlet, your paragraph was delightfully funny. Hope you feel better soon. I don't get to win so CCbomber is our man. Leave the gun, take the cannoli. Congratulations to CCbomber on his 31st trophy!
The moon is actually more useful than the sun since the moon gives us light at night when it's dark. The sun only gives us light during the day when it's already bright out.
