Hi Everyone

I have had the above game for quite a while but I don't recall on startup the game coming up with
A yellow screen until I press the left mouse button then it ask if you would like to skip the cut
scenes yes or no and if you press no it won't start the game until you press yes.
Another words it wont let you play unless you skip the cut scenes.
I don't remember the game doing this before.
Has anyone else had this problem?
and the only place I can get a new version of it is over in Europe does anyone have this game
They would like to sell.

Thank you
Bluto

Bluto, you may be missing an updated flash player or something else needed to play. Want me to move you to Glitches and perhaps they can help you fix what you have?

PIXEL SHADER: 3.0
VERTEX SHADER: 3.0

Reading Bluto's post, it sounds like he has played the game before. If so, was it on the same computer?

Moebius was released 6 years ago and a lot has changed since then.
Are you using a downloaded version of the game or do you have a disc version?

From what you wrote, it sounds like you are using a disc version of the game. Is that correct?

I don't know of a patch available as a separate download. The Steam and GOG versions have been patched but the patches were never available separately and wouldn't have been for a disc version anyway.

You can try the solution in the Phoenix Online forum at the link below -- which is to contact the developer directly.
http://www.postudios.com/blog/forum/index.php?topic=15192.0

I'm going to guess the yellow screen is a failsafe -- to allow you to play the game even if your computer isn't capable of displaying the cut scenes. Even if you're using the same computer with the same innards and same version of Windows, the computer's software is going to be different because of updates to drivers and changes made by Windows update. There could also be an issue with codecs.

+_+_+_+_+_+

The easiest thing to do would be to play the game without the cut scenes and watch the cut scenes on YouTube. I very much doubt that buying another disc version on eBay would produce a different result from what you're seeing.

Attempting the contact the developer (see the link above) might be worth the attempt.

And if Bluto is still using integrated video, the video requirements are higher than some of them.
