The owner of the company I work for is in need of a new laptop and I was going to send her to ecollegpc where I got my new PC. but I see they don't make laptops.

I was thinking of sending her to cyberpowerpc to have one made, unless anyone has better suggestions.

Also, if the wizards that helped me make my PC wouldn't mind, can I have suggestions for building a laptop that would be used for using Lightroom and editing (dog training) videos and photo processing etc. Also one that can handle multiple tasks at once that may be resource hogs. It will not be used for gaming.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thing is if it is going to be used tor things like Lightroom video editing and photo processing, components of a gamer will be necessary. I did a lot of research for a laptop for my granddaughter who is doing a lot of photography and taking classes on Lightroom etc. I went to forums and asked advice of photographers.

Cyberpower is still a recommended place for sure. Their customer service can be a bit patchy, but they still have a good reputation. One of the nice things about having one built is the operating system will be free of crapware. I can't remember for sure, but I think I ended up getting one for my granddaughter from the Microsoft Store because they offered "clean" ones for an extra $15 or something. It was around Christmas and they were deeply discounted, so I still got an excellent deal.
