Where are the saved games stored for Wanted: A Wild Western? I had to create a new user in Windows 10, and I am hoping to move saved games from old user to new user. Is it possible? Thank you

Did you install the game from a CD? Or did you download it from GOG or Steam? This could be important for knowing where the saved games are located. Steam saved games can be trickier to locate.

I'm going to guess the game is on disc because Steam and GOG are both selling an updated version of the game from 2017 called Fenimore Fillmore: The Westerner.

I'm afraid you'll just have to go looking for the saves in the usual places for older games (Wanted is from 2004 according to PAGODA). Look for a folder with the name of the game or the name of the developer (Revistronic) or the name of the publisher (The Adventure Company) in
C:\Users\your-username\AppData\Local\
C:\Users\your-username\AppData\LocalLow\
C:\Users\your-username\AppData\Roaming\

I've also seen game saves in
C:\Users\your-username\Saved Games\
but those games were all newer ones so I doubt you'd find a Wanted save there.

Can we assume you have "show hidden files" checked in your file options? That's the only way you will be able to see the AppData\Local location.

It is in the new user I created, I installed the game from disc logged in as new user. The old user does not have the file.

Interesting. That looks like the icon you launch the game from But maybe if you play for awhile and then create a save, the save location will be there too.
