can that bother my big fish games, all my cake mania games are playing fine now, but everytime some games update in steam, i get problems. i went to download Fairy Godmother Stories: Dark Deal Collector's Edition and got big fish app has stop working, and a game in steam was updated, i already email big fish, and it gave Worlds Align: Deadly Dream Collector's Edition a Access Violation, 6 or 7 games were updating in steam.

Steam is not supposed to interfere with Big Fish. But if you want to make sure Steam is not interfering with the Big Fish Game Manager, you could shut down the Steam service before using the Big Fish Game Manager.

The Steam service does things like updating, supposedly "behind the scenes."
But it's possible Steam is using the same resources as the Big Fish Game Manager would use for installing a game, and could conflict with it. Temporarily shutting down the Steam client service might fix the problem, but you should probably also reboot the computer after the Big Fish Game Manager malfunctions to make sure there's no junk in cache that would cause another access violation.

Alternatively to shutting down the Steam client service, check that the Steam client is not "updating" anything before trying to use the Big Fish Game Manager. Some of these "updates" are huge and can take all day to download and install, depending on your Internet speed (which can be significantly less than what you're paying for).

I believe you can pause the updates too and then restart them later if that helps.
