I was ON Romper Room for a week when I was little. The studio was only a few miles away.

I used to watch it, too. The rhyme went something like this:

There are some special items you have to gather in the forest to give to the gate keeper before she'll open the portal. By the time you're done traipsing around the woods to find these things, you'll be very happy to move on to the next world.

I'm so glad my owner let me out for some fresh air. Such a nice change from her bathroom and her purse.

I never saw Romper Room so I guess I missed the point. Sorry. However I enjoyed soot's reference to Snow White with his little rhyme. It was very cute. BTW, my answer to that question: Who's the fairest in the bog? Obviously an airhead.
