Just the last couple of days I can no longer open any files (pictures) sent to my outlook e-mail address. I had no problem before with this issue. I can't figure out how to get my files to open again or why this has happened.
Any suggestions please. Keep some help. Have tried to look for help on line but not getting anywhere. Thanks....

Is this the Outlook that is part of Microsoft Office? Or is it the web based Outlook.com email? You say any files, but then you say pictures. So is it just pictures? Are the attachments there and what are you doing to open them? Also, what version of Office do you have if it is that Outlook? Some of the old ones are no longer supported.

It is the web based Outllook.com emal. The strange thing about all of this is that it opened files and photos up til a couple of days ago. I can't figure out what changed.Still working on it.....I am using windows 10 which was already on my computer when I purchased it last December,

I assume you see the file/picture attachments? Do they have a name? Are you using the Windows Mail App to access your email or are you going to the website?

I use the direct link to Outlook on my homepage. Yes, the attachments have names and they all opened for you up until a couple of days ago. Thank you to everyone you tried to help me with this problem. I have been trying all sorts of things and somehow it is now working again. Still don't know what happened exactly but glad everything is as it should be for now....thanks again.

Do you see a preview of the picture? What happens if you right click on the attachment and click on Open?

Sorry I didn't get back... got busy cleaning about 10 pounds of garlic! Anyway, I checked one of my Outlook.com emails on both the direct link to the website and in the Microsoft Mail app and photo attachments worked both places.
