Posted some of these a few years back - if you recognise some of the answers, have a go at the new ones. Taglines or plot-lines from movies that never quite got made (but which bear a strange resemblance to some that did ) e.g. "Backing singers voice never-ending stream of complaints" – A Chorus Whine -1. Documentary about a new variation of the drop-shot, perfected in Rome -2. "I've tried to change the colour of my clothes by soaking them in this coloured liquid, but it's very difficult" -3. Dorothy is eaten by the creature that terrorized Amityville Think of a diminutive for Dorithy and think Spooner-4. Mystery fire at boathouse destroys all items of propulsion Think Gene Wilder films...-5. Baby buggies made quieter by oiling the wheels -6. U.S. Army officer in Vietnam is has to assassinate a renegade South American ruminant animal -7. John Travolta breaks his thighbone at the start of the weekend -8. Spaghetti western where the bad guys hide the loot inside a stuffed haddock -9. Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper head for New Orleans on their Harleys but are plagued by travel sickness -10. German composer discovers a way to time-travel
To waste one second of one's life is a betrayal of one's self. I wonder what's on television...?

7. Saturday Night Femur These are all very funny!
The moon is actually more useful than the sun since the moon gives us light at night when it's dark. The sun only gives us light during the day when it's already bright out.

Hmm - interesting, michele. It's very clever and as good as mine, but it's not mine in my answer, the wordplay is in the first word, and it's a different ruminant animal Does that help?

That's the one, Lady K! If I'd thought a bit more, may have been able to do something with "Alpaca lips now"...

Argh! I've blown it again! Clue corrected - a dolphin is a mammal and I wanted something piscine. Sorry, flotsam - you've got the correct trilogy, but not my answer...

If I'd thought a bit more, may have been able to do something with "Alpaca lips now"... It could have been a pouting or kissing ruminant.
