I am finally finishing Syberia 3. (I have owned it for two years, but didn't have a computer that would run it until now.) It is a beautiful and clever game which is lessened by a touch of carelessness throughout, but I have still enjoyed it. It seems that I read on Boomers several months ago that Syberia 4 was, in fact, in the works. Is there any late word on it? I also wonder if anyone believes that since we have Oscar back, could we perhaps learn what happened to Momo in the next game? I always felt bad about leaving him back there.

No further news yet on 4, I don't expect any really from them until they have something substantial. That is generally how they proceed.

Glad you enjoyed the third one. I have not yet played it.

Happy you enjoyed #3 Haze. For me the games that make me happy are few and far between these last few years.

Personally, as far as Syberia is concerned, I wish they drop the whole theme and start with a whole new story line with a completely new adventure of Kate Walker with the new worlds and characters to discover. That all being said, even if they didn't listen to me smirk I would still play any Syberia game they came up with.

Me too. Lovely graphics and hours and hours of play.

I have an apology. When I said I had played and enjoyed Syberia 3, I wasn't quite truthful. I finished it yesterday. I still enjoyed it. It's still beautiful. I still hope for a Syberia 4. HOWEVER...Syberia is a long game and it plays for a long time. Then you get to perhaps the dumbest conclusion in the history of gaming. 'Twas a disappointment

Sorry you feel that way. frown I felt the ending was pretty much the same as how the first and second games ended.

I still enjoyed the visuals and the story, but can't agree that it ends even a bit like the others. Kate ended up chasing a train to continue in 1, and floating off on a boat to somewhere in 2. That's a long way from facing really potential and very ugly dangers. No real matter; I'll buy the next game anyway, but I hope the next one ends in significantly more upbeat a manner.

Okay. I see what you mean. I was thinking on the line of how a lot of people felt the game ended on a cliffhanger. I don't think it was anymore of a cliffhanger ending than the first two games.
