Hi there - I am replaying Dracula: The Last Sanctuary (2) and the gameplay is a bit different to what I played years ago (eg there doesn't appear to be . Regardless, I'm in the sewer with Vampire Bill and I have to put the glasses on and shoot him in the heart.

So I put the glasses on and now I can see the red mark on his chest. I fire the gun at him and nothing happens - it says "it's a good idea but I need more than that" -- I can't seem to go forward or backward (as in leave the scene) so I am stuck endlessly trying to shoot him with nothing happening.

Appreciate any thoughts - if I've missed something = I'm at a loss

Thanks in advance
Ness

Hi, Ness. The first thing I would recommend is that you check out the walkthrough here at Gameboomers. If I remember correctly, you need to make an anti-vampire potion first to combine with the gun.

Aaaaah - thanks so much - you are awesome
I'd tried to combine the syringe with it in with the gun but not the bottle with the gun ... sigh!!!!

I did read the walk-through but obviously not thoroughly enough

Thanks so much for taking the time to respond. Really appreciate it

Yes well - I've hit another HUGE snag. The underwater bit in the sewers. I've read a few walkthroughs AND watch a couple of vids, but I can't find any debris to move to get to a wheel.
I can actually see a wheel but there are absolutely no pointers to allow me to interact.

It's different to the original as there is no timer for diving (as in air running out) so not sure if it is a glitch in the system and I will be unable to move forward or if I am just missing something obvious. It's very disappointing.
Should mention I am playing on Steam (on my PC) and the controls and look are slightly different to the original game - some things in the walkthroughs aren't included in this game

What do you know!!! -- I seems I spoke to soon and I am out of the sewers -- no rubbish to push aside to get to the wheel though -- so the old walkthroughs aren't quite relevant to the game I am now playing - but what the hey!! I'm happy now

The Dracula Trilogy (Games 1, 2, & 3) is on sale right now on GOG for .99 cents. I believe they are the complete games with nothing missing. You may want to buy them for your next replay. Then they have Games 4 & 5 on sale for .79 cents.

Yeah, some of these games have been "dumbed down" and turned into something more resembling a casual game. Oh, well! GOG usually has the full, real games from little to nothing. I can still play this game from my original disk!
