It's been so many years since I played the game, I don't remember! I will contact Ghostlady who is the game developer at Mystery Manor and see if she can help you out. In the meantime, maybe someone who has played it more recently will stop by.

I'm talking with Ghostlady right now. She is at work and may now be able to come here until later. She said in the meantime if you just can't figure it out, you can always hit Tab and the puzzle will be solved automatically.

Congratulations, Leeana! It is indeed a great game if you're in the mood for a good old fashioned point and click adventure game. A plus is that our own dearly departed Jenny100 is the voice of the Cliff House owner!

I had forgotten that Jenny100 did a voiceover. Now I am going to have to get the game - will pick it up on Steam.

Glad you enjoyed the game, Leeana.

Wow, I did not know that about Jenny, Draclvr. I'll have to keep that in mind when I replay the game.

Leeana, I seem to always get stuck right at the end of a game even if the rest of the game went well.

I just bought the game on Steam. I feel the same way you do, Leeana - hearing Jenny's voice will be a very nice thing when I play the game. I will never stop missing her presence on this forum. She and I both registered at this forum in 2000, within three months of one another - and I had been reading her posts for more than 20 years. I just can't believe that she is gone.

I bought the game from Steam, had bought and played it before when it came out and I believe Ghostlady has pity on players like me who get lost easily because when I went around and around at the end maze, the Fairy would pop up once in awhile to give me directions. So Leeana I guess you didn't go as crazy circles as I did in that maze. Glad you finished it, and yes I liked it, I am replaying the Steam version and when I am finished I will pop in at Steam and give a Small Positive review.

Leaving a small review is a good idea, Starcom. I will try to do the same after I have played the game.

I think the Cliff House owner's name is Amanda?

Hello everyone, happy to hear you are enjoying Cliffhouse!
Drac, you are correct, Amanda is the owner of Cliffhouse and is voiced over by Dear Jenny. Also, Elizabeth, the Doctor's wife and the Seahag are voiced over by Lady Kestrel. And lastly, Dr. John is voiced over by Bryan Wiegele, the creator of the Delaware St. John games. So lots of fun people were involved in the game. So much love...

I had forgotten about LadyK being the voice of the Seahag. That was excellent! I always thought the voice acting was one of the strong points of this game.

You're welcome oldbroad.
Yes, Drac, Lady K did a fantastic job as the Seahag. I always get a big kick out of it when I hear it.
Today I updated the Cliffhouse hints to include directions through the maze. smile
