I wondered about this game through the years but never took time to play it. Then I found that it was free on the Mulawa website so I decided to try. I have enjoyed the puzzles and the beautiful scenery. It plays a little clunky on my cheap Windows 8 laptop but I was a little amazed it ran at all!
So I got through all the puzzles then I fell down a cliff and am apparently injured on a beach. I have a cell phone and a scrap of paper that says most helpfully "Xiama"
The obvious dialing of x-i-a-m-a receives a message that you have go for what it means, although you do have the right number of digits.
I have tried numerous guesses using any number of theories to assign meaning to "xiama".
If you can give me a hint that would be excellent, but at this point a spoiler would work as well.

Thanks
Ed A

It's nice to see you posting here - it has been a very long time since your last post! Hope all is well.

Let's wait and see if another player can help you with this. I can't find anything online that enlightens me, although I may be missing something.

If no one shows up who can assist, my suggestion would be that you write to the developer - I am sure he would be happy to give you a nudge or a spoiler. smile

Hi
If I remember correctly, the key to that puzzle is that as the message hints, the note stands for literally what it is. You need a little phrase.
I can be less vague if need be yes

I actually played all of Peter's games back in 2018 and struck up a nice email exchange with him. He helped when I got stuck and we exchanged a bit about what was going on in our lives. He's a very nice guy. I admittedly didn't get the final code for the phone either and Peter gave me the answer. Start with "Xiama is...." 3 more words after that. If you need more of a nudge Ed A, let me know.

Hello everyone.
Thank you for helping me.
I wish I could say that I have seen the light, but alas, no. I am still on the beach, phone in hand.
I have not given up but I am wrestling with Xiama being an acronym (from an old interview with the developer)..and JKEerie - your hint above starts like an acronym...but generally in an acronym each letter stands for something. But I already dialed X-I-A-M-A so it can't be an acronym exactly, I guess.
I have been working a lot of hours so I don't get much time to play or much else. But I have a couple of ideas to try and a little time this evening so it's back to the beach for me!
Thank you again.

Woo-hoo! I got it! Thank you for the hints...got the phrase but still had to turn it into 5 numbers that weren't x-i-a-m-a...Had one of those "could it be?.." moments and voila I am doing my happy dance.
Be well everyone and thanks again.
Now maybe Magnetic!

Well done!
Was it that game that had the turtle puzzles?
