The romantic second honeymoon for their 50th anniversary didn't quite turn out the way they expected.

What a lovely ride dear
Yes, yes ... quite lovely in fact
But it is quite dark in here ... makes me rather sleepy in fact
Oh yes, quite dark ... quite comfortable in fact
I think I could almost shut my eyes and rest quite easily...
Oh yes, quite easily...

From the Singing Gondolier's Handbook by Marko Songo: As this picture attests, the lullaby the author's mother once sang to him has special powers to calm rowdy tourists. A copy of the song is available for purchase from the author's website.

Tasked with having to update, Charon had done his best to make it a nicer less scary experience.

Getting on for bedtime over here, so a decision must be made. What a great picture! There were so many good ones there. I rather liked the one about the Styx update with Charon wearing shades and a stripy T-shirt, but given the looks on the couple's face I just had to go with OrleansBelle's " Was it as good for you as it was for me"Congratulations Marie! ...and a shame we didn't have half a dozen trophies for this one!
To waste one second of one's life is a betrayal of one's self. I wonder what's on television...?
