Are you using a PC or XBox? I see the chat box when I play the game in the left bottom of the screen on my PC.

On my PC the chat box is on the lower left and the Guild text shows up in green.

I have to say, I am very pleased with the Discord Support group. Unlike most other tech support people, they didn't just keep sending me FAQ's, but actually engaged in a conversation with me. A very pleasant surprise.
