@oldbroad / Winfrey : I played the game and I think it is really special. I enjoyed it a lot. I even left a comment on Steam. It's in the review section, but I wouldn't call it a review as I am just praising the game and it doesn't tell you much about its characteristics. I just re-read my comment and had to smile about what I wrote/about my myself: The comment sounds like it was written by a total gaming nerd and is totally over the top.,lol ;-) I think I wrote it right after I completed the game and the effect the game had on me hadn't subsided when I left the comment.
Here is what I wrote back then :-)
"Gorogoa made me do something that no game accomplished before:
I am taking the time to write a short review, because this game deserves praise and it deserves to be more known.
I have been playing adventure and puzzle games for over 30 years now. I have played many good games and some excellent ones. But it happens rarely that a game comes along which is TRULY special. A game that pushes the boundaries of originality in terms of game design and mechanics to another level. A game that creates a fairytale-like atmosphere that kept me glued to the screen, in awe of what I was experiencing while playing the game. This game is quite short and the game mechanics to solve the puzzles keep repeating themselves, so it cannot be considered an 'A' game. So it is not the best game I have ever played, but it is unique, a true gem which gave me a gaming experience I will never forget. A must play if you want to play something that is unlike anything you have ever played before.
Definitely recommended."
