thanks BrownEyedTiger,
I put the game in my Wishlist but I will wait to see if it is Only WASD keys and No to using the mouse only, if No mouse only then no purchase for me. The game looks interesting though.

Starcom, its a combo keyboard/mouse control or gamepad.

thanks for your quick response BrownEyedTiger, I wonder if I should buy a cheapo not too cheapo Gamepad for my laptop would be a solution since more and more of these games are combos and are there Simple to use and install gamepads out there, I don't want one with a billion buttons, just something very simple to use and easy on the hands.

Thanks BrownEyedTiger. Starcom: I bought a Logitech F310 gamepad (controller) which might be about $20USA. It is "easy on the hands", good fit and basic buttons. I've never used one before so it is taking a while to get used to but as I said in another post I seem to manage using a mix of mouse/keys/gamepad for games. (my mouse isn't programmable), For 'Between Time:Escape Room' I have remapped the WASD keys in the Control settings so I can use the arrow keys for forward, back, left, right. I guess the "joystick' setting is for the gamepad. I haven't tried it yet.

I actually stumbled upon this game, Between Time from MC2 Games and.....I loved it. I really think they may have misjudged the genre of this as a "Room Escape" game as I see it as a pure Adventure Puzzle game. If you love First Person Puzzles, Conundrums and figuring out things as you go then this may be worth giving a try. Its a combo controlled game (mouse/keyboard wasd) but as a lot of these games coming out now using the Unity engine all you have to have is a programmable mouse and you program one button to be the 'w' and its totally mouse controlled. There are three Save spaces and....you can save at any point or progress in the game. I rate the puzzles in the range of medium/hard and very rewarding. I would not classify the puzzling as mind numbing casual game arcades at all. What is fantastic about this game is.................they have already released two more games, way to go MC2 Games. I hope you keep them coming. I am in the middle of the last game right now and will be sorry once I have finished so keep them coming MC2 Games you have done a wonderful job but I really think you should drop the 'Room Escape' from the title and replace it with Puzzle Adventure.

Check out all three MC2 Games HERE They are all available on Steam and after just looking........Hurrah!!! dance I just saw that a fourth game will be released April 13 called 'Regular Factory WooHoo! thumbsup

Thanks for the info Greyfuss. I almost bought the 3 game bundle a couple of weeks ago when I saw it on sale. Next time, I'll take action!

Very happy to hear this news, and from you, as we share similar tastes in games. I have bought these games (still in my library waiting to be played), and will look for the new one. Thanks!
P.S. I use a 6 button Razor programmable mouse for the W key. Works very well.
