Hi I found that the guide keeps repeating till you have actually got through the puzzle. To turn the elevator round you have to solve the beam puzzle. I ran around till I found the beams and focus the beam on the elevator . Hope this helps . It is one crazy game Maggsie

Hi all !! YES Maggsie !! it is one crazy game !! I am at a dual puzzle area ( after opening the gates ) where you need to turn wheels to get a platform to connect. I got first part - by accident !!! - but the second part , where you need to move balls onto specific spots on 3 rings is a head-banger !! I don't think I am going to make it - I've been trying for days on and off. It's the type of puzzle where you know what you need to do but is frustratingly difficult. If anyone has a saved game at this point, I would really like to get past here ! The game is beautiful but a bit on the tedious side.

Are you still near the beginning of the game then sureshot? That puzzle where you "turn wheels to get a platform to connect" sounds like where I left off playing (due to getting dizzy). I thought for sure you finished the game by now. I want to get back to it but am afraid to. I'm not ready to give up and look at a walkthrough or even use the hint system (yet). Did you try either of those options? There is a walkthrough here: http://www.pcgameswalkthroughs.nl/ or does the puzzle require dexterity?

Yeah I'm with you there sureshot, I was so excited to get this game and I am finding it a bit boring. Just purchased Riddle of the sphinx and it is much better .The puzzles in the M. Journey are so long . Maggsie

You will like Riddle of the Sphinx maggsie - I may just get the current version and play it again !!
I keep giving up on Mysterious Journey oldbroad ! That puzzle hurts my eyes too ! I can't spend a lot of time on it for that reason, which is why this game is taking me so long to play. Even the walkthroughs I saw were getting to be a blurr ! I hate to leave a game unfinished even if I have to use a saved game to get past this type of puzzle.

OK oldbroad ..
I do intend to finish this game with or without a walkthrough. It may take longer than I hope for because I just started Beta testing a new game on a MAC computer. It's a new Carol Reed game and I am very excited to be testing these games - there are the best !
Maggsie - enjoy Riddle of the Sphinx !! and I hope you do return to Nemizes.

Hello again !! I just complete a beta test of a new Carol Reed game Amos Green - you guys are going to love it. Anyway, I need to return to this thread and hope one of you has a saved game after you completed that 3 ring -- move the balls into their yellow spots puzzle!! This puzzle makes my head spin .

Hi all !! I just received a reply from an Email I sent to Louis Koot and Dick Leewu who posted a graphical - not video walkthrough of Mysterious Journey 3. On the bottom of the walkthrough, they is a link to download a zip file containing a number of Saved Games - one of which is right after that crazy Magnetic Ball puzzle. I can trudge on and see what "delights" this game holds. Good Luck to everyone who will play this game ! It is still a great game !!

That's great sureshot! I really like the walktrhoughs that they do. I used their save games with Schizm 2 (or 1, can't remember). I had looked at their walkthrough for save games for Nemezis prior to posting the link but didn't see them, so thanks for bringing them to my attention. You have inspired me to get back to the game. I spent about 40 minutes in it last night before I had to get out or get too dizzy. No progress but still hope! Edit: I made it through the revolving rooms puzzle!!! 2nd Edit: I made it to Level 2, playing as Amia. I thought you were just past the rotating rooms puzzle sureshot but I see you are probably a lot farther than that. This is a beautiful game!

Great oldbroad - glad you are getting back into it. It is a tough game but now we know we have a "safety valve" with the saves - it seems to be a bit more enjoyable. All the puzzles I encountered so far were tough but workable - I just couldn't deal with al the spinning around with that Magnetic Ball puzzle. The elevator tower puzzle that Amia runs into, took me a while - long while. Get past all the back-tracking and it did make sense at least. I didn't continue yet - I am not retired yet - still working 2 jobs as IT - keeps me on my toes. Hopefully I can get back into it soon. Well, Good Luck - and above all - HAVE FUN.
