I can get the waterfall puzzle right does anyone know how to turn the wheels so that I can block the stuff going in the water.

Now I have another problem I got the medicine I needed for the man making the leg but I can't get him to take it what am I doing wrong? Is there a way to pull up the inventory so I can get or look at items I might need? thank you for your help.
