Paris, December 16, 2021 – Microids is proud to announce today the release of Pendulo Studios' new narrative adventure game, Alfred Hitchcock – Vertigo. Freely inspired by the famous director's eponymous film, the game presents itself as a narrative experience and is now available on PC (Steam & GOG). A console release is planned for 2022.

Fully dubbed in French, English, Spanish and German, Alfred Hitchcock – Vertigo tells us the disturbing story of Ed Miller, a writer who emerged unscathed from a car crash in Brody Canyon, California, now plagued by intense dizziness.

Convinced that he has just lost his wife and daughter during this event, Ed begins, suspicious, a therapy that will lead him to gradually confide in a psychiatrist: Dr. Julia Lomas. She will have to face the reluctance of her patient to dive into the meanders of her memory in order to discover the end of this story. In parallel, players will follow the investigation of Nick Reyes, the sheriff of Cerro Lake, determined to shed light on Ed's accident, and who will be led to discover new disconcerting elements.

The title is an invitation to discover more about the origins of this malaise, and to dig into the corners of each memory, hitherto buried. Alfred Hitchcock – Vertigo is a true introspective experience that will continually sow doubt in the minds of players.

Alfred Hitchcock – Vertigo is developed by Pendulo Studios, including authors of successful games like Runaway (2003), The Next Big Thing (2011), Yesterday (2012), Yesterday Origins (2016) and most recently Blacksad: Under the Skin in 2019. The title is now available on PC, and will be released on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One consoles and Nintendo Switch in 2022.
