Hi Guys

Presently playing this game and I highly recommend it to you all, really good storyline, no difficult puzzles, just hitting the right key or button if using a game pad at certain points in the game. Its an auto save game, but you also have the option to go back to previous sections of the game if you feel that you have asked the wrong question from the multi choices to ask certain characters. There is also a very good walkthrough on Youtube if you dont know what action or question to ask. There is over 8 hours of gameplay, I have played over 6 hours and I have not yet been bored, have a look at the trailer folks and enjoy

Cheers
SAFC

I recently played it, and loved every second of it. I then passed it over to my wife, who were glued to the screen for the following 4 days. I'm not a sucker for cut scenes (since I usually care a lot more for the playable parts in games), but the cinematics in this game were fantastic.

Many people have complained that this is more of an interactive movie than a game, and that is indeed true. So if you absolutely want puzzles to scratch you head over, this is not the game for you.

But does it have anything to do with the Hitchcock film Vertigo? A lot players have said it is just in name only. Vertigo happens to be one of my favorite films. Is this game a homage? Does it invoke anything from the film? I don't mind borrowing from another medium, but some works don't do it well. If it's done well, it usually involves extraordinary effort. The 2019 film Doctor Sleep invokes a lot of themes, atmosphere, even specific visual cues from the 1980 film The Shining, and does so very effectively.

The game features some themes and props from the film, but the plot isn't related to the film at all. The whole game is a homage to the Hitchcock films though, and does that in a very good way.
