Hi I have just logged in to this game on my new laptop, on my old laptop I was well into the game I guess about three quarters of it. I transferred steam along with my games in the library. I have found I have to start the game from the beginning , also there are no saves . I thought that the games I played would be where I left off. With the automatic saves it will take me ages to get to where i was. any ideas. Regards Maggsie

Hi maggsie, I moved your post over to Glitches being as you were mentioning a technical problem. Let's see what the techies have to say about this. As a last resort, the Microids website does have some saved games for Syberia 3, one of which could probably put you back pretty close to where you left off - you can find them here.

I don't know how Steam handles this particular game. Some of them will sync Autosaves to the Steam database, but some of them do not. Some are just local saves on your computer. I know Syberia 3 only has Autosave at certain points. Are you able to access your last Autosave on the old computer? If you are, you could transfer it to a flash drive and move to the new computer. I just don't know if transferring an Autosave would work though. If you want to give it a try, I found this discussion at Steam with the location of your one and only Autosave. https://steamcommunity.com/app/4643...msclkid=2b052ed7cee211ec8d37c7125ab08005

Thanks Marian and Draclvr i will try that when I get back from Lanzarote in two weeks time. I thought I was ok when it stated that I had played 14 hours . I was so disappointed when I went into the game and having to start over. Those controls are a nightmare LOL. but I will get there. Thanks you two Regards Maggsie

When you get home, open up Steam and see if there is a way to force a "Sync."
