Can any one tell me what the following application error means for the game Gray Matter

The application failed to intialize Properly ( 0xc0000135 )

The Game loaded in and I went to run it and the above message came up

Checking it out... I always forget. What operating system are you using and are you trying to play with a disc or a download?

I'm finding plenty of discussion on the Steam forums about problems running this game on Windows 10 and .NET Framework errors.

When I search on the error number itself, it refers to a third party software issue and then goes through a bunch of steps using a clean boot and disabling all Microsoft Services. The posts are all at least 10 years old.

If you answer Draclvr's question regarding Disc or download, if you are using Disc(s) then you might have to use a No CD fix which could help. I have the No Cd fix on my HD if needed. The size of the NO CD fix is about 1.6 MB.

Thanks, Starcom! That might be an easy work around because what I'm finding is not very promising.
