To waste one second of one's life is a betrayal of one's self. I wonder what's on television...?

Lovely animals, jb. A friend of ours had a couple. He has grounds of about 300 acres and was on the board of directors of London Zoo. When they had surplus animals he would often take thaem off their hamds. Only rule, no carnivores Yes, michele Nice one, Sue. Some of us couldn't tell one opera from another

Nice one, Sue. Some of us couldn't tell one opera from another I don't know many; you just happened to pick my favorite. Can't listen to it without crying.
Netflix needs to stop asking if I'm still watching and start asking if I've switched the laundry over yet

Berni, Jarkeld - both good! Occasionally we will watch a foreign opera (which is most of them!) with the subtitles turned on. You will get this sublime piece of Italian singing, then the subtitles come up with something bizarre like "I'm off to fire up the old boiler". Beats Monty Python any day...

1. I am going to guess Los Angeles, only because I know it had hosted previously when it held the '84 Olympics.
Quantity has a quality all of its own
