Having more time on my hands (due to advancing decrepitude), I need to have a go at either Syberia 4 or Schizm 3 (whatever it is called).

Which should I go for? I don't care about the price, by the way.

I haven't played either game, but I can tell you that everyone here who has played Syberia 4 speaks very highly of it.

And I haven't played Syberia 4 yet but I did enjoy Schizm 3 a lot. I'd say go for both of them!

Schizm 3 has a Prologue you can play and Syberia 4 has a Demo . Check em out and decide. I will tell you the reviews an Syberia 4 are much better then Schizm 3. Try them both and check out the reviews

Orion's idea is excellent! They are very different games, so maybe playing the prologues will help to see what your game mood is right now.

I'd definitely recommend Syberia 4. Just an excellent game in every respect.

I've gotten to where I REALLY dislike Youtube walkthroughs. I used the Steam text walkthrough a couple of times in Syberia 4.

Decided finally to start with Nemezis.

PS For some reason Schizm Mysterious Journey appears to have deleted itself from the computer.
Any idea of where it might have gone into hiding?
I tried to find it using the Search function, but the game does not seem to be there.

Where was it, Peter?

Initially, the Schizm icon disappeared from the screen so I clicked on the 'type here to search' tab. That came up with several items about walkthroughs and suggested that I should search the internet to find the game.
At that point, I posted my statement on Discussions.

Later on, I recalled that the game was a GOG game (not Steam) and that was where I found it.

As I said - silly me.
