Those of you that love playing old-school puzzle point&click games (escape games) might be familiar with
Jo99, a French Flash developer with a very unique art style.
Some of his earlier games include : Krystine and the children in chains, The queen of Snakes, The earl Octopusor, The mother of the Bird men, Humanoid 47, Hospital 46, Mysterious island 49, and Coma 45.
Just like many other successful developers from that area, one day, he noticed that nobody was playing his games anymore.
Web browser developers had decided to no longer support Flash. And that was that. Many wonderful games gone ...
But now he's back !
His new (free) browser game is called '
Journey in the mine'. It was made in Unity.
When asked if he will port his older games as well, he replied that he didn't know yet because 'it takes a lot of time'.
Jo99 websitePS : Don't forget to save your game often (big button on the bottom left) because it's easy to accidentally click outside the game window, and then you'll have to restart the game from the beginning ...
