If darkish animation adventures are your thing, then head on over to Silentown.
Location, a dark monster filled forest. Population, not as many as there once were.

Children of Silentown tells the story of Lucy, a girl growing up in a town surrounded
by a monster-filled forest, and from which people regularly disappear. The roars from
the forest fill Lucy's dreams as well as her drawings, but she is determined to get to
the bottom of whatever is haunting the town.

Thanks flotsam and Draclvr!

Question though regarding this paragraph:

"They did give me pause to … well, pause. Only one is remotely connected to the game, and if you can’t solve them you are stuck. You can say that about any puzzle, but you might be tempted to be less generous towards these given their largely ‘stuck on’ nature. They can’t be skipped, and if you can’t do them (random clicking will likely only get you so far), you can’t move on."

If I am stuck in the puzzle and you know the answer, can you get me through the puzzle or is it random or require dexterity?

Hi OB
I am not aware that they are random and they don't require any dexterity at all.
The gear puzzles are probably the most difficult to 'explain' but they obey some rules and I worked out a braod strategy that seemed to work. However even though I got through them all, I couldn't give you a step by step guide to solving each of them. I imagine a video walkthrough could get you through provided it captured all the moves. The answers to the other two would be more easily conveyed.
Hope that helps smile

Thanks so much flotsam! It sounds like a fun game! I know how frustrating and how many hours it used to take to write a step by step for those kinds of puzzles when I worked for BigFish. There were many tears shed and swear words said. lol

Thanks, Drac!
