This got my attention:
Quote
The video game industry was worth nearly $200 billion in 2021 — more than music, U.S. book publishing and North American sports combined.

The story goes on to describe working conditions of game testers and developers; and the desire of some of those workers to unionize. You can read the full story here.

Does the article break down the $200 billion figure by kind of game? I guess graphic Adventures are decimal dust in there.

Thanks for sharing this interesting information about the video game industry and its value in comparison to other entertainment industries. It's alarming to hear about the working conditions of game testers and developers and their push to unionize. I'm definitely going to check out the full story on The New York Times. BTW, I came across this article on businessmole.combusinessmole.com that might interest you as well: "13 of the Best Press Release Distribution Services". It's a useful resource for anyone looking to distribute press releases.

It's important to acknowledge the working conditions of game testers and developers, and the desire of some workers to unionize. I recently came across this article on the best press release distribution services for PR on Parker's website. If you're interested in getting your game or gaming-related news out there, this article could be a helpful resource. You can check it out at the link below:
