Nuclear Tales’ new graphic adventure will be a prequel named Randal’s Tuesday. The game will see the light by 2024 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its predecessor, Randal’s Monday.

This time, Randal wants to fly solo, so we at Nuclear Tales along with Nexus Game Studios have decided to release a Kickstarter funding campaign. This way, anyone who wishes to, can become part of this new project.

Our goal is to take Randal’s Tuesday to the next level and go one step further from the original formula, and to that end, we need as much help as possible.

Our former distributors, Daedalic Entertainment have been of enormous help for us, and up to this day we still share a magnificent relationship with them. However, at this point we would like to become independent, and not having to rely on their position and contacts.

If everything goes as planned, the campaign should be available starting in April this year. The final product would be released during the second half of 2024 on as many platforms as possible.

New game 100% original.

We won’t settle with just releasing a simple DLC for Randal’s Monday. We want to create something new. We want a new game from head to toes, with no recycled elements or mechanics from the previous one. We want to take Randal’s universe into the next level especially in terms of graphics and sound.

Randal ‘goes back’ to college.

For a long time now, we’ve wanted to develop a new scenario to that peculiar ‘Groundhog Day’. However, we did not want to replicate the exact same formula again. That is the reason why, after many internal deliberations, we decided to put our focus on Randal’s early years. The result? A prequel about Randal’s life in college. We will be able to control 3 different characters, each of them with their own scenarios, items and skills, forcing the player to having to resort to all 3 in order to advance.

We have developed several new situations and puzzles but thanks to our new interface, there will be many different, intuitive ways in which players can solve the challenges they encounter. And of course, expect a pinch of Randal’s characteristic black humor in each of them.
