Hey Ho Hagatha, I'll bet the deck will look marvelous once you have everything back in place. Gerry and OldBroad, we've been enjoying cooler weather down here knowing full well the temps will be "oh my goodness" hot soon enough. Ana I hope you have more great days, less crazy unless they are fun crazy days and little to no more sucky days! Off to a baseball game in a bit.

Oh, joy... tornado warnings here. Had some hail earlier. Totally put the kibosh on my weeding this afternoon! Bella the Bloodhound doesn't normally like to be inside, but if it thunders 200 miles away, she wants to be under our feet! Unfortunately, her Bloodhound "fragrance" is quite strong! Oh, well, we just sit here and smell her adorable 110 pound self!

I was hoping for a break in the weather today for a quick walk and maybe set up the deck furniture but we had near gale-force winds out there, so I had a day of storm watching instead, in front of the fire. My new phone has a terrific camera, so I made some storm videos to watch after I've moved away.

Draclvr, I hope the tornados stay away.

They did, hagatha... thanks! We got some hail, but in town 5 miles away they got hammered with hail and high winds.

We're in the midst of what looks to be an eight-day gale. My house is so cold I had to turn the heat pump back on. Nasty. Good weather for packing and cleaning, though.

Phew !! That could be SOME gale So take care, hagatha 🤞

We dropped about 50 degrees the last two days and had some snow this morning.

Cold and very windy here too. Hopefully tomorrow it will let up enough for me to get back at - weeds!! I did pick a couple big handfuls of asparagus this afternoon!

Cooler than normal here too ... which we have enjoyed. An 8-day gale...wow Hagatha! 50 degrees OldBroad ... that sounds like quite the change for sure! Draclvr, good pickins with your weeds I am up for some hot chocolate and a bagel.

Bad weather always seems much more dramatic here, perched up on our little hill above the water. Campbell River is right at the very narrowest part of the channel between Vancouver Island and Quadra Island, and when the wind blows, it gets funnelled right through here. What would just be a strong wind anywhere else is a real howler here. I don't think it was bad enough for ferries to get cancelled.

I'm waiting for a FedEx delivery that was in Vancouver this morning and it hasn't arrived, so they don't have the excuse that the ferries weren't running; they're just late -- making me stay home for another day to accept the delivery.

Good Morning Everyone! A chilly day here...in the 40s, but will be in the 50s and windy later. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate a wait Connie's goodies.

Soot, the weather is definitely different today! Last night we had two very loud claps of thunder, and now this morning I wake up to a couple of inches of snow. So much for setting up my deck furniture.

Snow! Hopefully it melts quickly. A really nice day in store for us.

Another beautiful sunny warm day today. Made major progress on the weeds in all the perennial beds yesterday. Almost ready to contact the young man - with the young back! - who will come spread mulch for me. Taking the day off today to get a "radio frequency ablation" on my back this afternoon. I won't describe it because it sounds awful! So hopefully I will get some relief - it's been pretty brutal with all the work outside. I have this procedure done without any meds to make me goofy which is the way I describe it. Told the Physician Assistant it's no more uncomfortable that the back pain! I even drive myself.
