There's supposed to be a customer, Lupe, that Nancy is supposed to talk to I've been unable to find her at the window looking with binoculars like the walkthrough says should happen. (And I'm SOOO tired of the cooking. I want to get on with the actual mystery.) I can't move on in the game because Nancy has to ask her questions that I need in order to make progress.
I need help.

My son and I both played this game separately at different times and neither of us saw Lupe in the same time frame and in the same order as the walkthrough - she apparently pops up at different times for different players. The walkthrough is merely showing when she showed up for the walkthrough writer in the game. Just keep going about your business and she will show up when she shows up. My son saw Lupe MUCH later than I did.

If you can't figure out what else you can do at this point, you can always use a saved game as a last resort. You can find some here.

Melina, I agree with Marian, Lupe shows up at various times, and just to add in, I have played by following the WT here and completed the game without seeing her at the window.
