Thank you Ana,

This really looks very good. The Expanse has been in development I believe for 4 years and finally episode 1 is out with the other 4 right right behind it. I don't know if I should get E1 now and play it or wait for all to release. What is it.....a month and a half away, that is if they release as scheduled. Deck Nine apparently worked on all 5 at the same which is very nice, no waiting years to play from start to finish.

If you purchase Deluxe Edition for $45 you get a Bonus Episode, "ARCHANGEL", which for me will be a must have. It states a Fall release so no telling when that will really become available

Be sure to check out this "News". Some very good videos talking many angles of The Expanse from gameplay, crafting a narrative and an interview with Cara Gee - actress on the TV show and now lead character in the game. There's more news to check out

This is gonna be a great play. I like the Telltale style of gameplay, "choices matter". I have already played a couple of their games, The Wolf Among Us and The Walking Deads. Really enjoyed them

I can't help but wonder why The Expanse is not on Steam. Why does Epic get the exclusive. I personally do not like purchasing through EPIC. They have already messed up my log in and games. I will have to get that fixed now

Thank you Ana,

Epic is really putting it out there with this "First Run" program. Epic will give developers 100% revenue for 6 months and then do EPIC's 88/12% revenue split (88% developer / 12% EPIC - typical cut) after the 6 months just to get an EXCLUSIVE?.... Six months is a long time. I would think by then the majority of sales or at least a good amount sales would have come and gone. All the episodes should be out by then and I would like to believe any serious issues fixed. I guess they know what they are doing but I don't like it.

Their goal:

"The First Run program could encourage more developers to bring their games to the Epic Games Store ahead of competing PC marketplaces like Valve’s Steam, and that in turn might lead to more players spending more money on Epic’s platform. Epic also tries to woo players with the weekly free games it has been offering for years."

If this "First Run" succeeds there could be a few less games available upon release, big named games, like "The Expanse" on Steam and GOG. Steam and GOG are my go to so I am a little concerned

Does anyone know if exclusive games become available to other sites at some point?

Orion, the exclusivity ends after the 6 months. Others have released with shorter terms. I recall some big names (I want to say a big Frogwares release was Epic exclusive much to the dismay of many members. But with patience, the games will hit steam or other platforms soonish!

Well thank you very much Ana. That is good news. I know what oldbroad meant by, "I know I can surely wait on any game!". I kinda thought so but did not now for sure

What good is running an exclusive where you don't make a dime for 6 months, or less, only to have it then released to other sites where the game can be purchased. I am guessing Epic's exclusives are to bring gamers in hoping they will make some purchases besides that exclusive

*******

Is anyone playing The Expanse? Are the other episodes releasing on time, has episode 3 released - Aug 24th

The Expanse - YouTube

Do you have a 3D printer - They are going all out anymore

Good to hear revco. I mentioned I am gonna wait for all episodes to release including that bonus episode they are handing out on the Deluxe Edition. I contacted Telltale asking about E3 releasing on 8/24. I mentioned they need to keep updating that updated release schedule. We will see where my inquiry goes

Can you tell if E3 and E4 have released? E4 was scheduled to release 9/7. Are they getting behind I wonder

9/10 EDIT: I contacted Telltale on 9/4 and have gotten no responce from them so far

I never got a response from Telltale. All the episodes should be released by end of today - 9/21. Those who have purchased the Deluxe Edition or plan to that bonus episode, "Archangel", will release sometime this fall

According to Telltale's news it looks like the release dates are on time. EDIT: They were.......

4 more months until The Expanse releases to other sites, around Jan/Feb, could be less

The Expanse is 40% off. Deluxe Edition 35% off. Both discounted until 9/26

Hi Guys

I ve just found this game from Telltale Games, its a SiFi adventure and its over 5 chapters, I cant find out if its going to be released by Steam or GOG, the only source I have found is Epic Games (the price is in dollars(for our UK posters)) 2 different prices depending on which version you buy ($55.99 or $62.99) round about £42.00 to £52.00 sterling which I think is quiet a lot of money for both sides of the pond, saying that I have checked out the videos on Youtube and it looks like a very good game, maybe Flotsam can check it out and find out more about the game. If the release price is lowered I might be tempted, its worth a look

Cheers

I'm interested. I did not think The Expanse would release to Steam this early. You said it could....Thank you Ana

Hopefully The Expanse and it's DLC, “Archangel”, will be discounted later today during Steam's Autumn Sale

EDIT: They did not make the sale. I figured
