Steam is driving me crazy first of all it will not let me download my games so they can just keep them nothing i can do about it.dianne

I'm not a Steam or download expert by any means but it seems to be working okay for me.

Are you signed in? Are you trying to install from the Steam client? When you click on a game in your library it should open another page that has an "Install" button. Aren't you getting that?

My Steam is working just fine too. Can you tell us what you are doing that isn't working, dianne? Like oldbroad says, you need to be in your Library.

i had steam installed didtake a bit to sign in because it kept telling me wrong password when i click on a game in my libary it says remote download status un able to reach my pc. seems strange to me. dianne is confused

Try this: For steam on windows you open the steam client and click steam on the very top left of the client. You should see a dropdown with change user, go online and check for steam client updates. When connected to the internet just select the “check for steam client updates” option. Up date if there is one . Then log out of both your pc and Steam and log back in.

One thing, dianne... are you trying to reach your games from your account at the website? I've found the only way I can download games is by opening up the Steam client on my desktop and then selecting Library from there. Have you tried that?

Or somewhere in your settings maybe there is a place to change where you want the games to download. I don't know about this, am just wondering. Maybe somebody else knows. It sounds like you play on different devices, such as your pc or your laptop so maybe there is something that needs to be changed somewhere. I can't really find anything but I don't want to mess around in my Steam account too much and then have mine be messed up.
