Welcome to Regis III - Narrative Sci-Fi Adventure, The Invincible, is Out Now on GoG, Steam and Epic. “Down you go, oh, bright sun, time to let the night in. For my legs are heavy, and the field is not inviting…”

Check out the launch trailer here.

Check out the official website here.

Quote
Warsaw, Poland - November 6th, 2023 — Explore the story of Yasna, an astrobiologist trapped on the unwelcoming planet, Regis III, and face a scientific phenomenon which will bend her understanding of the purpose and flow of evolution. The Invincible - from the star alliance between developer Starward Industries and publisher 11 bit studios - releases today on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

“Hide behind the dark woods, while we're running barefoot

You will rise again tomorrow, make the morning dew glow…”

Embark on a philosophical journey aligned with the ideas and spirit of Stanisław Lem's books… a journey which will encourage you to rethink the ambition and capabilities of humankind to conquer space, and make choices on how to treat not only your biggest threats, but also the people around you.

“Legs become too heavy, hands become too weary

Down you go, oh, bright sun, night is not that scary…”

Learn that perhaps not everything, everywhere is for us. The Invincible, a retro-futuristic hard sci-fi adventure game inspired by 1950s illustrations of a possible future, is out now on PC and current-gen consoles.

Happy Gaming!

It sure does sound like it Uncle Reg. There are these checkpoints that are suppose to be close to one another where the game auto saves. The Steam Cloud wasn't but is now working. I have an inquiry running on the Discussions Board hopefully getting to the bottom of this issue. I'll see where is goes.....

***EDIT: It went well. Already got a response from the developer that works for me. Check the "Discussions Board" link

I have been waiting for this release just to find out there may not be any manual saving but instead having these checkpoints as stated "not too far apart". There is a lot riding on an answer to my questions whether or not I get The Invincible....ahhhhh who am I kidding.....I'll get it regardless. I played the demo and liked it and it is a Sci-Fi

Thank you Ana!

Thanks Orion! And Steam has this game bundled with Indika for even more savings.

I got a refund for Indika as I couldn't get through the opening mini-game.
Invincible on the other hand is pretty good, although I've only played the first 2 chapters.

Update.
I finally finished playing Invincible. It took a long time to complete, with lots of repeated attempts to get to the next game's fixed save points before i had to leave to do other things. The two endings I went through seemed a bit abrupt.
I recommend it.
