I need help at the stage where i need to get up the cliff to ge back to Granite House. I am being blocked by the monkey again - it has thrown the rope ladder down and I can't get Jep to take the ladder back up.

I have tried giving Jep the cake when he cimbs up, but that does not work - Mina tells me so.

Can someone please help?

Sorry! Not thinking straight. I can get bac to Granite House the other way.

(Interesting to know if I could have climbed th cliff, though)

I thought I could get back to Granite House 'another way', But I don't think I can.

So I am back to my original request to find how to climb the cliff.

Not sure exactly where you are in the game, but part of the walkthrough says that you can get back to Granite House through the lake entrance. The walkthrough says:



I do remember that there are a lot of options in this game. I played it a very long time ago.

That is right - I did get back to Granite House via the lake entrance. I had forgotten about this when I was faced with that irritating monkey up the cliff, and I was futilely trying to appease it with cake or trap it in the snake/cage.

So, thank you for the hint, and I can now carry on.
