I don't want to look under your spoiler tag until I finish the game, IF I am ever able to finish it. I have gotten a little further today, still in Chapter 3; still stuck though. I'm sure I have the full clue now but I guess I still don't understand it. I wish I could "save" even though it is not much to have to repeat.

When I had finally - sort of accidentally! - finished the game, I looked at a walkthrough. And although it says I should have this item, I didn't and still finished the game.
