It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that I inform you that Mary's husband lost his battle with cancer on Sunday. Here is Mary's message "it's with a very sore heart and great sadness that I have to tell you that I lost my hubby and soul mate on Sunday morning. My family and I are all devastated and can't quite believe it. I would like to extend my thanks to yourself and my GameBoomer friends for all the prayers, positive thoughts and good wishes while Freddie was ill. They meant a lot." Please send prayers and positive thoughts for strength for Mary and her family to get through this difficult time. Ana

My dear friends, many thanks from the bottom of my heart for your words of kindness, sympathy and prayers following the death of my hubby Freddie. They mean the world to me and my family. We are all devastated beyond belief; he was chatting with us all on Saturday morning but had to be admitted to hospital Saturday afternoon. He died at 7am Sunday morning. It all happened so fast. His funeral will be held on 2nd May. I can't even believe I'm having to write this. Thank you all once again for your love. Much love, Mary

Thank you so much, flotsam. Tomorrow we lay our dearly loved hubby, Dad and Grandad to rest. I still can't believe this is happening. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers on what I know will be a harrowing day for all of us. I couldn't have got through the last few years without all of your kindness, thoughts and prayers.
