Fellow GameBoomers. I managed to make a crosswords puzzle for June too. However this one suffer from a case of shrinkflation. Same price ( $0 ) but less content. The gray squares are not to be used. You only got 12 squares to play with instead of the usual 15. Please don't publish your solutions until tomorrow, Sunday. If you PM solutions I'll confirm, if online. Happy solving ![[Linked Image]](https://jonax.se/ijkm/%23013Q.png)

Curly did a most excellent solution. Possessing great knowledge about English rivers, and other trivia.
Glad Lex liked it too. Have you even been punting on one of those rivers?

I went to Oxford university and did quite a lot of punting on the river Cherwell (great fun) as well as rowing and sculling on the river Thames: the punting was helpful later on in understanding how to manoeuvre a narrowboat...! On the river in Cambridge it is traditional to stand at the opposite end of the punt for some reason. Is punting something you have done FF?

A former employer once sent me to Cambridge on some errand. A lovely town where them locals told me about punting. However I have never had the opportunity to punt and remain totally ignorant about the details. I'm afraid I couldn't tell the right end of the punt from the opposite.

Heh. Punting for me would be called swimming. Thanks for the fun, Fogfighter!

Glad you enjoyed it LadyKestrel And thanks for the links Lex. The last paragraph of the how-to-punt conjurs up some vivid images. If you need to let go, do so, otherwise the punt will leave you slowly sliding down the pole into the river. You can always recover the pole with the paddle.
