One/two lines from a well-known(?) song. What's the song? (And, for a bonus, what's the next line?)
And after the way you demolished the previous post, there's a couple of toughies this time...
-1. Maybe somewhere down the road when somebody plays "Purple Haze" - a supergroup -2. Broke, busted, disgusted, agents can't be trusted -3. It's the heart, afraid of breaking, that never learns to dance -4. I will see you in the light of a thousand suns - song written after her husband's death -5. Dinner in the diner, nothing could be finer -6. Can't know the fears that your elders grew by -7. A trace of pleasure or regret - best known version sung by a frenchman -8. My love she's like some raven at my window with a broken wing. -9. I look at you all,, see the love there that's sleeping -10. Nights when we sang like a heavenly choir - think Scotland... -11. Sometimes when you're doin' simple things around the house, maybe you'll think of me and smile - a favoutite funeral music choice, also the outro music for the final episode of "House MD" -12. Some day when we meet up yonder
To waste one second of one's life is a betrayal of one's self. I wonder what's on television...?

8. Love minus zero, no limit (I think, although sometimes I get some of the Dylan songs from that era confused...) ... and I think that may be the last line
Life is what happens while you're making other plans.

12. Willie Nelson--Blue eyes crying in the rain
Some day when we meet up yonder We'll stroll, hand in hand again
Willie is my all time favorite singer. Did you see Willie's 90 birthday special? Really good to see him.

10. Mull of Kintyre by Wings? Scotland plus it rhymes with choir maybe?? And it scans. No idea of the next line though (or even which one this is!)
Quantity has a quality all of its own

soot - a song I always have to find a dark room to lie down in after it's finished. Blows me away flotsam - great detective work! (FYI "Of the life and the times of the Mull of Kintyre") Mad - strangely enough one of my (a 70s country rock fan) favourites. But there again, I like the very similar Gilbert Becaud, especially "A Little Love and Understanding"

11. Keep me in your heart for a while. Amazing tune. Made me remember all 8 seasons were great back in the day.
