You may Have the Job, but now Lose Your Mind! Shift 87 Launches Today! You think your day to day job is already anomaly detection? Take the test and check if Shift 87 is like vacation to you! It is out today on Steam!

Check out the trailer here.

Check out the game here.

Check out flotsams review of the previous game, REVEIL here.

HAMBURG, Germany (July 23rd, 2024) - Thank you for taking on the role of “Anomaly Detection Expert” here at Norn Corp. We are thrilled to have you on board after the mysterious events of March 24 at the Nelson Bros Circus, also known as REVEIL. Your primary responsibility is to report anomalies and observe horror elements, so it might not be that different from your previous job!

As an “Anomaly Detection Expert,” you will experience more variety, more environments, and more details than in comparable jobs. You will be able to find up to 66 anomalies. The shift duration, or total playtime, is about 2-3 hours, meaning you'll have plenty of free time after your shift! However, there is one caveat: 50% of the anomalies may be creepy but easy to spot, while the other 50% are more subtle and easy to miss. Sounds doable? Great! Good luck with not getting paranoid!

Happy Gaming!

Has anyone played this?
I just started working my way through it after an extended gaming layoff and can't find a save mechanism. I had assumed it would atosave once I made it through the first level but it seems I was wrong. I have interogated the menu to no avail and left a message on Steam but no luck so far.
Can anyone shed any light?

I haven't played the game but just looked at a number of reviews and no one mentions a save system of any kind. It seems that the game can take an hour and a half or less to complete, so maybe there just isn't one. I can't be sure, of course.

I think you are probably right Marian. The longer I play, the more it seems that the game wants you to apply what you have already learned each and every time you start the game. The assumption presumably is that you will be quicker through the already completed levels, plus it is a way of encouraging you to find more of what the level has to offer.
