Hi. I've just installed "Sherlock Holmes The Awakened" (the re-mastered version) - using Galaxy - on my Win10 machine. And then played the first few minutes to check it worked. [Which I'm happy to say it did !! ] However, I managed to create about 5 saves - a mixture of manual and auto saves - when I went to Quit And can't find a way to delete some of them, as I presume I only actually need ONE ?? So some advice would be very welcome, please !! [Even though I've played a couple of games now that I installed using Galaxy, I'm still not good at using it !! ] Thanks. Mad

Hi. And thank you for responding, Draclvr. I've followed those instructions to stop cloud saves. But I can't see a way to delete the existing saves already made OR even know where to find them .. if they are also on my computer. If I uninstalled and reinstalled the game would that get rid of them ?? [I've only played a few minutes of the first scene so it wouldn't be a hardship.] Thanks. Mad

Hi to you both Thank you, Ladies, but I'm afraid none of your suggestions worked - unless, of course, I didn't do things correctly, which is always definitely possible [And I've also again looked in all the places I've ever found saved games from games I've installed to Win10 in the past.] So I guess I'll just carry on playing and ignore any excess saved games that happen !! And thank you very much for trying to help. Cheers. Mad

No, sadly, they weren't. That's where I looked before I even posted here at Gameboomers - because that's where my Win10 game saves usually go !! [I really dislike not being able to find game saves ]

An Update I've discovered that the Sherlock Holmes game I installed via Galaxy was NOT the re-mastered version from 2008 !! So I uninstalled it and installed the true 2008 re-mastered version. [And not via Galaxy.] If I find don't like it for any reason I do still have the very first version of this great game - which I really like and have played several times over the years - and I will happily play it again I've played most of the Frogwares Sherlock Holmes games. Some I like more than others. And I have several Sherlock games by other studios (older games in the main) and again, some I like more than others

I think Mad refers to this one. The description says it's the "beautifully remastered edition." It's confusing because when the original game was released, there was a remastered version of that, which is the one you see in the link. And then many years later, now there is the current remake/remaster.

I had been under the impression she was trying to play the newest one.
I know about the 3 different ones. I have them all (I think). Not sure what my disc game is. Sorry, no I don't have them all. I have the newest one on my wishlist and then I have downloads from Steam and GOG. the Steam one is the old Remastered one. The GOG is whatever is in your link (I believe also the old Remastered one).

Sorry for the confusion đŻ The one Marian links to IS the âre-masteredâ version I currently now have installed âŠ. I downloaded it from my GOG library. (I also own the disk version of it but I donât remember where I bought that ) Iâm just hoping now, after all the messing about, I can actually find time to PLAY some of the game tomorrow !!
