What has happened over at Adventure Gamers? The forum is completely gone, with no explanation whatsoever. Of the 6 sections in the header, no less than 4 (four!) lead to various online casinos and betting sites. The user reviews have been deleted. Very few updates have been made during the last month.

It would be sad to see yet another adventure gaming site die.

AG did die. There are some posts scattered around here at GB and elsewhere, but it appeared it was sold without the knowledge off anyone including moderators.

It's going the same way as Just Adventure in other words. Such a shame. It was an excellent site, with constant updates. On the bright side, maybe it can lure some new members to GameBoomers. smile

Hey, I just hit up Just Adventure, and they published their first update in 6 years last week. shocked

There is a new forum. https://exagforumites.freeforums.net/ It's primary focus is two-fold. One, is to allow prior AG members a place to lick their wounds. Second is to allow prior forum members an opportunity too recreate threads that were an important part to the old AG. Community playthroughs for example. So Yes, the old Adventure Gamers is dead, but many of the ideals it stood for is still alive, although currently in a limited state.

Geez .... crazy times we are living in. I enjoyed AG just like I enjoy GameBoomers and Mystery Manor.

At the risk of mentioning rival sites (GB is the best...goes without saying) does anyone know what has happened to Just Adventure and Adventure Gamers? JA has not posted for 6 years and AG seems to only be interested in slots now. I have followed GB for what seems like forever but the others had their uses so it's a bit of a sad loss. Just wondered if anyone knew why you guys seem to be the last ones standing.

Hi lynthorpe, I merged your post with this previous Adventure Game Discussions thread - hopefully this will provide some insight. And no worries - we are not touchy about other adventure game sites being mentioned: we are all adventure gamers, and as far as I am concerned we are all in this together. wave
