Another mixture of new/recycled disemvowellings… Remove one vowel from the first answer to give the second. Do not rearrange any of the remaining letters. If necessary, remove any hyphens or inverted commas as needed. Eg. Organ/male deer (heart/hart). -1. Background electric disturbance in a communications system / bouquet -2. Metal / metal Starts with "A" - sneaky-3. European cavalryman / mythical beast -4. Pillage, plunder / abundance -5. Wall or jetty built out from a riverbank / broad smile Starts with "G"-6. State flower of Indiana / £25 -7. To give utterance or expression to / a fault, defect, or shortcoming. -8. Person skilled in the use of small craft / military officer's personal servant. -9. Egg-shaped / not legally binding -10. African antelope / In angling, to retrieve (a hooked fish) from the water -11. US car maker / to resist or oppose obstinately -12. European river / Function represented by the infinite series x − (x 3/3!) + (x 5/5!) − (x 7/7!) + (x 9/9!)......
To waste one second of one's life is a betrayal of one's self. I wonder what's on television...?

Sometimes lost is where you need to be. Just because you don't know your direction doesn't mean you don't have one.
