For $4.99 on Steam, players can explore the streets of ancient Pompeii, solve puzzles, help its citizens and decipher Mercury’s mysterious message.

You play as Flavius or Flavia, a young Pompeian trying to help friends and neighbors as strange events ripple through the city. Solve clever puzzles - like uncovering the secret to perfect bread at the Pistrinum, unmasking a culprit at the theater, or tracking down sacred chickens, while piecing together a bigger mystery that might save lives.

The city has been faithfully recreated from historical documents, with hand‑drawn art and fun details everywhere you go. Discover the temples, stand on the stage of the Grand Theater, or join the crowd at the Amphitheater for the games. Each step reveals a little more about daily life in ancient Rome.

Danger in Pompeii is the result of a unique collaboration between Institut Le Rosey, DNA Studios, and around fifty students who contributed to every aspect of its creation—from the visuals and music to the design of its puzzles. Every location you visit and every challenge you face is rooted in careful historical research.

This educational game is free for schools and on iOS thanks to the support of Fondation Le Rosey. A special classroom edition is also available with pedagogical activities on the official website of the game, giving teachers an engaging way to bring ancient history to life.
