Good Monday morning. First day of fall finally brings cooler temperatures! I sure hope the 90's are in the rear view mirror.

Laundry and much neglected floors today...

Having a nice coffee myself, and getting ready for what looks like a wind storm headed our way.

The day's gaming was good yesterday. Cyberpunk runs well on the Deck, although it's really hard to see some of the commands. It took a few hours but I think I know them all now and I didn't throw the Deck against the wall even once ( ). I look forward to yet another day of lazy gaming, possibly with the fire on again. We're moving into those quiet Fall days when there's not much to do outside.

The cottage next to my house is for sale. It's always a worry that somebody noisy will move in.

Good morning everyone. Hagatha, we know the feeling about new neighbors, wishing you all the best. Time for a cup of Gerry's marvelous brew, a bagel or two from Connie, and I brought some cupcakes this morning for Urban Worrier & Aretha's birthday celebration Grocery shopping later today.

Good Tuesday morning. Supposedly rain is on the way for this afternoon. I'll believe it when I see it! But it does look promising. I'm just going to settle in with a cup of WADDB and wait!.

I've been starting my Merlin app and putting my phone in the open window next to the hummingbird porch which is where I also have my feeder. I have picked up some birds there I never knew frequented it! I also now know that a bird I hear all the time, but never knew what it was is a chimney swift. Cool!

A chimney swift! Wonderful. I miss having feeders outside but until Dude is too old to hunt it's not safe.

Hagatha, I have Miss M who brings me a hummingbird she has jumped up into the air and caught now and then. I just take it from her and let it go. Wally the barn cat would be deadly, but he pretty much leaves them alone.

Unfortunately, the last hummingbird Dude caught was in horrible shape, with a gash on its neck and one wing gone, most of its feathers gone, too. He must have played with the poor little thing for ages. I just can't bear the thought of deliberately attracting birds into the garden.

The work on my garden pond starts this morning. It will be quite a transformation. Otherwise I'm off to Nanaimo to run a couple of errands, then back to backyard gaming; the Deck on the deck.

Hi everyone. I'm back online, at least for the time being. My phone and internet were both out again like last time. I am sorry if I make everyone think that my service provider is horrible. It isn't. It is just me who hates dealing with this stuff. I have a lot of anger inside me and fly off the handle real quick, usually every time I have to call somebody about something so I just put it off.

Now to try to get caught up on everything.

Good Wednesday afternoon. She's BACK! Things are just not the same without you here, oldbroad!

Gerry, had to make a fill-in grocery store run this morning. What did I see in the coffee aisle but Wide Awake coffee for the first time! I didn't see the DDB, but I hope they get it! We are drinking the German coffee from Aldi right now because all the other coffee has gone through the roof price-wise.

We finally got enough rain to measure yesterday - may 3/4 inch. Won't make a dent, but it's a start.
